CalLibs - Calibrator Interface LibrariesBase Station, Field Station and Cal Station automate calibration management by communicating with intelligent calibrators through Cornerstone CalLibs. "On-line calibration" may be conducted with a calibrator connected directly to the PC running Base Station or Field Station software. In "Docking calibration", Base Station or Cal Station downloads instrument data and pre-defined test schemes to intelligent portable calibrators. Calibrations are performed remotely, in the field. The calibrator is then docked to Base Station or Cal Station to upload results into the Cornerstone historical database. CalLibs support one or the other of these calibration methods, and sometimes both. The following CalLibs are available. In addition, manual data entry CalLibs are provided as standard, integral features in Cornerstone products to help automate record keeping for any calibrator.
CalLib CompatibilityCal Station currently provides support for Docking CalLibs only. Base Station supports either Docking or On-line CalLibs. Field Station supports only On-line CalLibs since the associated Base Station hosts the Docking CalLibs. The table below shows you, by CalLib type, which CalLibs can be used with each Cornerstone product.
